BCS Football

Well, the BCS has officially gotten its wish... Or has it? The BCS's biggest fear is that in any given year they will have more than two teams with undefeated records at the end of the season, leaving at least one team on the outside looking in. Many college football fans want for this to happen every year in hopes it will result in a playoff.

This year however there seems to be a different set of problems for the BCS. At the end of this season there will be at most one team undefeated at the most. This means that any number of teams with one loss will have a claim that they are the team that should be playing in the title game. This again creates confusion for fans and the BCS.

The other problem for the BCS is that there is a chance that the two teams that end up on the top of the standings will be the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Louisiana State University Tigers. Many fans do not want to see a rematch of any game played in the title game, and there is a very good chance that with the loss of Boise State and Stanford this last weekend that this is the result we can expect.
