Halftime Interviews with Obama and Romney

During last night’s Monday Night Football game, Chris Berman interviewed both the presidential candidates during Halftime.  I was a little disappointed with the format of the respective interviews.  Berman only really asked each candidate one sports-related question.  I would have liked it better if the interviews had centered on sports as this was during halftime of a football game.  Instead, Berman asked the same kinds of questions we have heard throughout the campaign process.  Berman did ask each candidate what he would change in sports.  That was a good start, but I wanted more.  Being that it was in the Monday Night Football setting, this should have been an opportunity for viewers to see a different side of both of these men.  It could have been a chance to move away from the political rhetoric that has dominated the media for months.  I know I would have gotten more out of this interview if the central focus was on sports and the relationships each candidate has with sports.  This could have been a great chance for a breath of fresh air for those who have followed the campaigns; instead it was just more of the same.
